How to secure mouldings to a rendered wall while the adhesive sets

I have a number of mouldings I want to stick to my rendered wall. How do I fix the mouldings to secure them to the rendered wall while the adhesive sets? I cannot use clamps. And I’m not sure if (or how) it’s possible to nail/screw into a rendered wall. Also, what is the best Selleys product to use for this job.

You could use Liquid Nails Original (solvent based) construction adhesive or Liquid Nails Heavy Duty. Both of these adhesives can be used as either a conventional wet bond or as a contact bond ie, apply adhesive to one surface, press together and then pull apart and allow to dry for 3 – 4 minutes but no longer than 10 minutes and then firmly join surfaces again. We would still recommend if possible using some form of temporary manual fixing or propping until the adhesive has developed a sufficient bond.
