Where can this product be used?

Kitchen – Dishwasher
Laundry – Washing machine, laundry sink
Bathroom – Bathtubs, Toilet bowls, bathroom basins, drains, showerheads & tap ware

What materials is this product suitable for?

Glasswares, plastic, metal parts (including Internal pipes & valves of dishwashers and washing machines.
Bathtubs, stainless steel & shower heads.

Size

375g

NOTE: Rubber gloves are recommended when using Scalex.
Dishwashers

Empty dishwasher of all dishes and cutlery.
Fill the detergent dispenser with Scalex & sprinkle 2 level tablespoons around inside.
Run through one normal cycle.

Washing Machines

Remove all laundry items.
Sprinkle 1 level tablespoon of Scalex into the bowl (not the soap dispenser).
Run through one normal cycle.

General Descaling & Rust Removal

Stir & dissolve 1 level tablespoon of Scalex into 1 litre of hot water.
Immerse stainless steel shower head or glassware etc, in solution & soak for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
To remove rust from bath tubs, toilet bowls etc, apply solution (from step 1) directly onto stain & rinse promptly with cold water. Repeat with a double strength solution if necessary

Limitations:

NOTE: Avoid contact with stainless steel cutlery containing chrome as it may be permanently tarnished. Avoid contact with plastic laminates. Avoid prolonged contact with aluminium, brass & copper. For best results use warm to hot water.

For best results, use warm water as it improves descaling efficiency
Remove all dishes from your dishwasher and all clothes from your washing machine before using Scalex
Avoid contact with stainless steel cutlery containing chrome, dishes and clothes
Avoid contact with plastic laminates and prolonged contact with aluminium, brass & copper
