What You Need
Step 1: Get your surfaces squeaky clean
Before you begin, it's important to get your surfaces ready for painting. And the key to this is to clean your surface with Selleys Sugar Soap.
It's perfect for lifting dirt and grime. The surfaces should be "squeaky" clean so be sure to listen out for that squeak.
Step 2: Get rid of mould
Mould spots are unsightly not to mention unhygienic! If you find patches of mould, a liberal spray of Selleys Rapid Mould Killer should do the trick. It works quickly to start killing mould in 30 seconds!
Step 3: Remove old silicone
If mould has penetrated to beneath the silicone, you will need to remove the silicone first. It's as easy as brushing Selleys Silicone Remover on to the affected area, waiting around 2 hours (depending on the thickness of the silicone) and then scraping off with a scraper.
Spray the area with Selleys Rapid Mould Killer to ensure all those mould spores have been killed.
