- Use in well ventilated areas and avoid contact with skin and eyes. Thoroughly clean surfaces with mineral turpentine and dry.
- Pierce seal in tube, fit nozzle and cut to size.
- For use as an adhesive, apply sufficiently to one surface only and bring together within 4 minutes and fasten immediately. If fasteners are not being used, support joint until sealant cures.
- For use as a joint or seam sealant, mask adjacent surfaces and apply sealant so that it completely fills the joint and makes contact with both surfaces. Tool immediately with a spatula dipped in detergent water, forcing sealant into the joint and remove masking tape before sealant skins (5 min).
- For use as a surface sealant, apply sealant and tool evenly to desired thickness before sealant skins (5 min).
- Clean up with turps before sealant cures. Remove nozzle and replace cap. Allow sealant to cure in nozzle and remove before next use.
Limitations:
- Not suitable for polycarbonate, polyethylene or polypropylene plastics.
- Sealant cannot be painted over.
- Not recommended for below waterline applications.
- Resistant to -60ºC and 180ºC continuously, or to 240ºC intermittently.
- Product releases methyl ethyl ketoxime while curing.
- Uncured product may be removed with mineral turpentine.
- Cured product can be removed by cutting and scraping.
