- Remove old gasket material and thoroughly clean surfaces with mineral turpentine and dry. If adhesion of gasket is not required, wipe mating surfaces with oily cloth.
- Remove cap, unscrew nozzle and remove seal. Replace nozzle and cut at a 45° angle.
- To extrude, squeeze tube with steady pressure to form a 1.5-3mm thick bead of sealant. Squeeze onto one of the surfaces to be joined, around the perimeter of the part around the bolt holes.
- Join parts together within 10 minutes and hand screw the bolts back onto the gasket until sealant is just starting to squeeze out. Allow to dry for 30 minutes.
- Tighten bolt to desired torque. If thicker gasket is required, assemble but do not tighten bolts for 24 hours. Material cures in 24 hours.
- Clean up before sealant cures, with mineral turpentine.
- After use, replace cap. Allow sealant to cure in nozzle and remove before next use.
- If disassembly is required, pry two flanges apart and remove old sealant before reassembly.
- Allow 90 minutes before filling with liquid. Cures in 24 hours.
- Store below 30°C.
- Uncured product may be removed with mineral turpentine.
- Cured product can be removed by cutting and scraping.
