Some silicones contain oils that may penetrate porous surfaces or metals. Product will not remove staining caused by these oils.

1. Ensure surface is completely dry, as water contamination will render the product ineffective. For fast results firstly remove as much of the old Sealant as possible.
2. Read the safety directions before using the product. Carefully unscrew lid open.
3. Use a scraper to spread a 5 mm thick layer of Sealant remover evenly over the old Sealant.
4. For effective removal, Leave Sealant Remover product on for at least 10 minutes. For thick deposits leave for 24 hours. In some cases, a second application may be needed.
5. Use a scraper or sealant remover tool to remove the softened sealant from the surface. Selleys recommends using a sealant remover tool.
6. Clean residue, remaining Sealant Remover and tools immediately with a cloth soaked in methylated spirits.

Limitations:

**Not suitable for rubber, EPDM & polycarbonate.

Wear protective gloves, avoid breathing vapour and use in a well-ventilated area.
Carefully cut or scrape off the old sealant with a sharp knife or sealant remover tool to a depth of less than 5mm. For ease Selleys recommends a sealant remover tool.
Leave Sealant Remover product on for at least 10 minutes. In some cases a second application may be required.
Use a scraper or sealant remover tool to remove the softened sealant from the surface.
Any residue and remaining Sealant Remover on surface should be cleaned up with mineral turpentine.
