Use in a well ventilated are. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Throughly clean and dry surface from oil, dirt and grease with mineral turps.
- Remove tab lock, twist collar clockwise to MAX, remove nozzle cap, press lever to dispense.
- Smooth with a spatula dipped in soapy water. Clean up before sealant skins (5-10 minutes) with a cloth dampened in mineral turps. Twist collar back to MIN and replace nozzle cap
- Sealant will fully cure in 72 hours
Limitations:
• Not for use on polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon. Pre-test plastics before use.
• Do not use in below ground applications.
• Sealant is not paintable. Complete painting 7d prior to applying sealant.
- Covers up to 4m, depending on bead size/shape
- For a neat finish and easy clean up, tape both sides of the gap before applying the product.
- Work in sections that can be completed before sealant skins. Tooling off and tape removal must be completed before skinning occurs or a rough surface, may result so working in sections allows for a better finish.
- When first applying product, extrude a small amount onto a piece of scrap material to ensure a smooth continuous flow of silicone sealant.
- For a better finish use a spatula dipped in mineral turps or soapy water to tool off the sealant.
- Keep a pack of Selleys Sugar Soap Wipes handy to wipe up any spills and for cleaning any material off the skin before it cures.
- Uncured product may be removed with mineral turps.
- Cured product can be removed with Selleys Silicone Remover or by cutting and scraping.
