Selleys White For Life Tile Adhesive

White for Life Tile Adhesive is an easy to use, flexible, high grab wall and floor tile adhesive suitable for small tiling jobs and repairs. It is possible to grout & seal immediately after gluing tiles to walls/floors. It is part of the White for Life tiling system and is compatible with Selleys White for Life grout & sealant. Suitable for bathroom, shower (walls only), toilet, laundry & kitchen#.

Where can this product be used?

# Not for areas frequently immersed in water eg. shower floors- use Selleys White For Life Powder Tile Adhesive. Not for tiling floors subject to high traffic, or for applying non-porous tiles over porous surfaces. For individual tiles that exceed 4kg bracing may be required.

Ensure surfaces are clean and free from grease or loose particles. Any fresh paint, membranes/coatings, render or concrete, must be allowed sufficient time to cure before tiling is done. Wet areas such as bathrooms & shower recesses must be waterproofed with a suitable waterproofing membrane.

Apply product in vertical strips 5cm apart at the back of the tile.
Position tile and press down firmly. Due to the high initial hold of the product, support during curing is not usually necessary#.
If laying multiple tiles, uses spacers to ensure even grout joints. TIP: Wall tile joints are 1.5-3mm wide; floor tile joints are 3-5mm wide.
Check that the tiles are level and use a rubber mallet to tap lightly and level them if required.
Remove excess adhesive using turps from the face of tiles and joints before adhesive cures.
Holds instantly but must not be disturbed, or subject to foot traffic until cured (up to 48 hours)

Limitations:

*White For Life Tile Adhesive RTU is water resistant, however waterproofing of wet areas is essential prior to tiling.

Do not tile at temperatures below 10°C or above 35°C
